How to Point Your Domain to Your Hosting Account Print

  • 0

To connect your domain to your hosting account, you need to update your domain’s nameservers or DNS records.

Option 1: Update Your Nameservers

The easiest method is to change your domain’s nameservers to the ones provided in your welcome email.

Log in to your domain registrar, locate the nameserver settings, and replace the existing nameservers with the ones assigned to your hosting account.

Option 2: Use DNS Records

If you prefer to keep your existing nameservers, you can point your domain by updating the required DNS records instead.

Propagation Time

DNS changes are not always instant. It may take up to 24–48 hours for your domain to fully point to your hosting account worldwide.

Important Note

Make sure your domain has already been added to your hosting account before pointing it.

Done

Once propagation is complete, your domain should begin loading from your hosting account.
