Terms of Service
Hostproto provides web hosting and related services to customers worldwide. By using our services, you agree to comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, and the Terms outlined below.
Due to the nature of internet-based services, interruptions may occur for reasons outside of Hostproto’s direct control. You acknowledge that any damages resulting from such interruptions are inherently difficult to determine, and Hostproto shall not be held liable for issues beyond its reasonable control.
In all cases, Hostproto’s total liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the client for the affected service during the period in which the issue occurred. Hostproto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Indemnification
You agree to use Hostproto services at your own risk. All services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
You agree to indemnify and hold Hostproto, its staff, and partners harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, your content, or your violation of any applicable laws or policies.
Hostproto reserves the right to take action on any hosted content or account that may violate applicable laws, policies, or third-party rights, including suspension or removal where necessary.
Billing
Services may be billed monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually depending on the selected plan. A 14-day refund window is available for eligible services, subject to review. Refund requests must be submitted through our support system.
Refund eligibility may vary depending on the service and circumstances. Domain registrations, transfers, and cryptocurrency payments are non-refundable. In some cases, account credit may be issued instead of a refund.
Services renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled in advance. By maintaining an active service, you agree to recurring billing under the selected term.
Uptime Guarantee
Hostproto aims to maintain a 99.99% uptime level on a monthly basis. If this level is not met, clients may be eligible for service credits based on the extent of downtime.
Downtime caused by events such as DDoS attacks, scheduled maintenance, hardware upgrades, or external network issues may not qualify for compensation. Requests for uptime-related credits must be submitted through a support ticket.
While our infrastructure includes DDoS mitigation measures, no protection system is guaranteed to stop all attacks. Severe attacks may result in temporary service disruption or null-routing.
Domains
Domain registration services are provided through ICANN-accredited registrar partners.
By using domain-related services through Hostproto, you agree to comply with all applicable registrar and registry policies. Additional domain-specific terms may be provided separately.
Limitation of Liability
Hostproto is not responsible for any loss of data, service interruptions, or other damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services. This includes, but is not limited to, outages, system failures, or data corruption.
Any liability is strictly limited to the value of the service provided during the affected period.
Affiliates
Hostproto offers an affiliate program to approved participants. Affiliates may earn recurring commissions on qualifying services, excluding domain-related purchases.
Abuse of the affiliate system, including self-referrals or misleading promotions, may result in termination from the program and forfeiture of commissions.
Late Payments
Services are due based on their billing cycle. Accounts not paid within 5 days of the due date may be suspended. Accounts overdue by 30 days may be terminated.
Suspended services may be restored upon payment of outstanding balances, where applicable.
Disclaimer
Hostproto does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, or business resulting from service disruptions.
Some services may rely on third-party infrastructure or providers. Hostproto is not responsible for failures or issues originating from third-party systems.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services at our discretion in cases of policy violations, abuse, or risk to our network. These Terms may be updated at any time without prior notice.
